Philips blender. Poor quality product

Bought this HR2103 blender about 18 months ago. It is underpowered and stalls and smokes on the lightest tasks. (cooked spinach??) The bowl developed cracks. Took it back to the service centre. They checked out, and said there was nothing wrong. Still cannot blend. I wrote a complaint on Philips website last week. Still no reply. This is simply under designed.
