Failed Pressure Cooker
I bought the Philips pressure cooker from yuppie chef. The first time I used it it kept releasing steam and instead of taking 20 minutes to cook it took over one hour as no pressure builds up. I told yuppiechef about this but because I only used it two weeks after purchase they could not take it back. It need to get repaired.<br> <br> It was collected from my house, somehow lost in the process, found in the warehouse, and delivered to Cape Town. All this took three weeks. Honestly for a pressure cooker! Just the delivery and airmiles and fumes released all because a valve in the pressure cooker is not working. You'd think it would be simpler to replace it.<br> <br> Now its being tested and I have no word back. So I phone the service centre and they claim nothing is wrong. I had to beg the guy to perform another test on it.<br> <br> This has been a month running. I have had the pressure cooker longer outside of my house than inside of my house.<br> <br> Worst customer service ever! <br> I can't imagine ever buying another Philips household electronics good again.<br> I've never experienced such terrible service with any of the electrnic or kitchen good I have ever bought.<br>

The process is very simple once you have the correct ingredients and liquids placed into the bowl (inner pot) the lid (cover) is locked into place and the pressure valve is turned to seal. The timer is set to the food type you are cooking and it will start. It will require some time to warm up the liquids before the ingredients start cooking. Thereafter it will move over to keep warm once the cooking timer is completed.
