Don't buy Philips audio products

I bought a Philips soundbar in September 2014. It recently stop functioning, apparently due to a faulty main board. This has to be replaced, but the part is no longer available. This I was told by an electronic repairs company I had to find myself, because Philips South Africa is unable to service or repair its audio equipment. I was told by the Customer Care Manager that the Philips Audio Business had been sold. He is now not answering my emails any more. So Philips South Africa is simly shrugging its shoulders, not willing to stand behind their brand. Even though I still see Philips audio products being sold locally. R8900 for 4.5 years use out of a product and brand that I had always thought was leading and reliable.
