Phase Energy is a DISASTER.......BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Phase Energy is an absolute DISASTER!!!!!!! I advise against dealing with them. They do not honour their warranty commitments, they are impossible to contact, they show no sense of urgency in trying to solve problems and they are not a good financial deal once all the extra costs and hassles are taken into account. I ordered 4 x 650 watt bifacial solar panels from them at what I thought was a good price. Ordering on the website went fine. I filled in my delivery address....great... no extra charge so delivery must be included....and the invoice specifically says "Shipping Method: Free". Great. After 2 weeks and no panels arriving I contacted them. Yes your panels are here you can collect. No, said I, I ordered them delivered. Sorry we dont deliver. What about your invoice saying "Free shipping". We dont deliver there will be an extra courier charge. Huh???? My first financial surprise. I had to pay the "free" delivery costs. Started to do the installation. Putting the second panel onto the frame, as soon as it was exposed to the sun, not even connected, big bang, smoke and flames. On inspection a clear manufacturing fault. Two of the internal wafers were touching causing a short circuit. Eventually got in touch with Phase Energy and sent them photos. Guys I have guests in my lodge. You need to sort this out ASAP. Their response...We cannot do anything until we have the panel in our possession. Second financial surprise. I had to pay courier fees to get the panel back to them. Hear nothing from them again. Contact them. Yes we have the panel, but it is cracked??????? OK.....must have been damaged by the courier bringing it back to you. But you have the photos showing the short on the panel and on the same photos you can see it is not cracked, ie, short occurred BEFORE panel was cracked. Hmmmmm. Sorry we cannot replace a cracked panel. But the short occurred BEFORE the crack!!!!!! Sorry we cannot replace a cracked panel. So they chose to hide behind the subsequent damage so that they would not have to replace the panel. My next financial surprise, I had to cancel guest bookings due to limited power....Phase Energy showed ABSOLUTELY NO urgency in trying to solve the problem even though I told them I had guests. WhatsApp messages were not responded to, calls not answered. After much negotiation and fighting, they agreed to send me a replacement panel if I paid half the full price. Having unhappy guests with limited power made that decision easy, I paid up immediately. OK, when will I get the solar panel?.......sorry we have no stock......stock will only arrive in three weeks time.......I am told this AFTER I have paid!!!!!!!!! (Check other reviews where customers experienced a similar situation of paying when there was no stock). Three weeks later a message...you can come collect your solar panel. But sorry, when I had agreed to pay half, you had agreed to pay the courier costs to get the panel to me. Oh OK, I will have to check with management. After a couple of days, OK we will pay the courier to get the panel to you. It then took 4 days to get the panel onto courier transport. The first time the courier called to collect, it was not ready for collection. They had to come back. The panel arrived in Hoedspruit. I went to collect it. My next financial surprise.... I had to pay an additional fee as Phase Energy had understated the weight and dimensions when booking the courier. And as if all of this was not enough, when I opened the package, I found that they had sent me the wrong panel, a 675 watt instead of a 650 watt!!!!!!!! This is absolutely the WORST company that I have dealt with. No concept of "looking after the customer", absolutely arrogant. They have a guy called Shafy who was supposed to be able to help. Dont try to call or message him before 11 am. He does not even switch his work phone on before 11 am, so you can imagine how helpful he was......zero!!!!!!!! Dont be tempted by supposedly competitive prices. Rather deal with an established company.......you will be happier in the long run. Phase Energy is a DISASTER!!!!!!! If I could give a negative star rating I would.
