WHICH PROCESS OF NOTIFYING RECIPIENT IS FOLLOWED WHEN A DRIVER IS DISPATCHED?????

How is it that despatch can just send a driver to deliver my medication without notifying me and finding out if I will be available to receive the medication or not?

This is not the first time this has happened and frankly it is becoming extremely frustrating because for one I sitting on a daily thumb sucking and guessing that a delivery is going to be made. I believe it is common sense that people either have jobs or have errands to run so before a driver can just rock up at my gate can it be a common courtesy to call me and find out if I am available before they leave the depot or wherever it is that they get dispatched from?
