Unprofesional Service from Pharmacy direct

Been getting my chronic medicine for the past year from Pharmacy Direct and they have turned into a company you should avoid at all cost since they not communicate or deliver your medicine ontime. Suffering from a serious illness, I have to beg and scream at them for getting my medicine. So last week Tuesday, 19 July I send me renewal script....Guess what...no word from them...i hasd to goto Dischem who was kind enough to assist whilst Pharmacy direct is having a lock on my account preventing Dischem giving me my chronic medication.

Dear Maxwell ,

We confirm that a manager has been in contact with you to assist you and provide feedback on your complaint that has been raised.

Herewith feedback on your complaint as per our discussion .

On 30 January Pharmacy Direct supp**** you with three months of stock on your medication, this was the final three repeats available on your prescription. We informed you on the 30 January that your prescription has now expired and that a new prescription will be required to continue dispensing of your chronic medication.

On the 17 May you contacted Pharmacy Direct to follow up on your medication delivery, the call centre agent again informed you that your prescription has expired. You requested a courtesy repeats as you stated that you never received any communication regarding the expired prescription, with the approval from the Pharmacist a 7th repeat was issued and sent on the 17 May. Once the parcel was dispatched on 17 May, we again informed you that your prescription has expired and a new prescription is required .

Your last prescription received was dated 2 November 2017 and made repeatable for a maximum of six repeats. As per legislative law, the prescription is valid for a maximum of six months and six repeats. Your prescription was issued six repeat and expired therefore on the 23 March. Communication was sent to your mobile contact number which informed you that we required a new prescription on 30 January , on your invoices received with medication it is also communicated on what the status is of your prescription and the amount of repeats available.

The new repeat prescription was only received on the 19 June , the prescription is dated the 2 June . There was therefore also a delay in forwarding your new prescription to Pharmacy Direct since your Doctors appointment was on the 2 June, the new prescription was only sent to Pharmacy Direct 16 days after the prescription was issued . As per our service level a new prescription takes 5-7 working days for processing, in the event that the medication is required Pharmacy Direct needs to be contacted in order to expedite the prescription for processing. We were not contacted to request urgent processing, therefore the prescription was processed within our service level on the 25 June. We were however unable to claim for the medication as you already collected it locally on the 23 June from an alternative supplier . Your next due date for issue of medication is therefore only on 18 July.

Kind regards

Pharmacy Direct Team

I have forwarded my complaint to my medical service provider and they will deal with this matter. Your service does not even deserve a star rating... BTW...The rest of the comments here are shocking....I rest my case
