Pharmacy Direct is ***********, inefficient and not worrth the problems if Bonitas Medical Fund promotes them

I started using the Bonitas approved designated service provider Pharmacy Direct about 18 months simce it was promoted by Bonitas as its pharmacy group of chocie for excellent service and good prices. My experience with the company has not been as promised by Bonitas. Here are just five problems i have had amongst many which has led me to terminate their services. They regularly send me medication that is two or three months from expiry, the expiry date is written in the smallest fine print, these medications are probably bougnt at a highly discounted rate so hence their profit first approach. Recently I asked for my medication to be delivered by a certain date and they prmised to do so as i was travelling. They simply delivered it a day later and forced me to purchase my chronics. They routinely use to deiver chronics in advan e for two to three months so now fail to deliver on time for a single month is unacceptable. They also change the generic medication prescribed to another generic which is poorly made witbout offerng you a choice prior to this being done. The last precription i received was short of three regular medications and whn i called today the first staff member could not confirm the delivery on their systems, then the pharmacist indicated that funding for two medicatuons paid from day to day or acute medications had run of funds at the end of February. The two medications in queatuon cost R77, 00 and my benefits indicate these funda are available. Then they pointed out that i owed R108 for medical aid shortfalls for the february delivery of my medications. I indicated that my acccount is under normal circumstances paid in the day i receive them or the next day through a very non user friendly payment method. So i decided to terminate my relationship with Pharmacy Direct. They gladly accepted that. I never had these hassles with Clicks, Dichem and many other local pharmacies.
