pharmacy direct is a nightmaire to deal with

I have on going problems with Pharmacy Direct. There is absolutely no service. I received an sms that my chronic meds have been approved. A month later I had to call them and asked them where my medication is before it was dispatched. my last medication issued shows clearly on 1 July 5/6. When I enquired today why I did not reveid my medication, I was told my script expired because it was issued in January and they cant issue no 6 on that script. My medication always arrives 5 - 10 days late. In a year I receive 11 dispenses and have to go without chronic medication for a month a year because their service does not exist.!!!

Funny how quickly you can be in contact when I posted a complaint. When I called this morning nobody was available to speak to me!

Dear Mrs. Podges

We confirm that a Fund Account Manager has been in contact with you in an attempt to assist you and provide you with feedback on your query that has been raised.

We informed you that we were not able to supply you with chronic medication as your prescription for some of your medication had expired in July 2018. The last prescription received for this medication was dated 10 January 2018 and a new prescription is required.

We informed you of your prescription that will be expiring and requested a new updated prescription on the following days:

8 June

11 June

5 July

The one item of medication that we do have a valid prescription for we are unable to supply as your account with Pharmacy Direct is in arrears and this medication is attracting a co-payment .

We have also confirmed receipt today the 6th of August of your new prescription that is dated the 6 July. We are attempting to contact you to confirm if we should expedite the prescription for urgent processing.

Kind regards

Pharmacy Direct team
