Pharmacy Direct endangers lifes

I've sent my chronic prescription on Monday, 6 August 2018 and it was marked urgent.

On the same day I received confirmation that it is being received and processed.

I phoned the morning of the 7th of August and still my prescription was not processed or my medication dispatched.

My mother called on my behalf because I was having about 6 epilepsy seizures a day and is very ill from several life threatening illnesses, and she was informed by the consultant that she will escalate it for urgent delivery today Friday 10 August 2018.

I have received sms saying that my medication was dispatched and I will receive it in 24 hours.

Today I received medication but THE WRONG MEDICATION, I phoned again and consultant Craige Claasen informed me that my prescription still wasn't processed, nevermind dispatched and the consultant advised me that the have too much prescriptions and that was the delay that I am without my medication and was not being helpful or trying to even begin solving my problem.

I have experienced this on numerous occasions and I am extremely unhappy with the poor quality of service and assistance from Pharmacy Direct, especially the use of sarcasm by consultants.

Please people stay away from PHARMACY DIRECT they will **** you.

Dear Miss Mc Nabb,

We confirm that a Fund Account Manager has been in contact with you to assist you and provide you with feedback on your complaint.

As discussed with the Manager whom contacted you, processing of a new prescription takes 5-7 working days. In the event that the medication is required urgently, we need to be contacted telephonically to request urgent processing. The prescription will then be expedited and delivery can be expected within 24-48 hours.

The necessary special delivery arrangements has been set in place for today as informed by the Fund Account Manager.

Kind regards

Pharmacy Direct team
