Pensioner Chronic medication not being delivered on time

My mother who is a 72 year old diabetic, recently joined bonitas and started using Pharmacy direct for her chronic medication. The first delivery was supposed to be on the 26 January. I called and emailed and was assured that the delivery would happen. It did not. This caused a huge problem for my mother as she did not have any other medication and we were leaving for a holiday. I had to personally go to their offices in centurion and wait a long period of time for her medication to be packed. Despite having arranged for it to be available for me. The rude receptionist at the Pharmacy direct office in centurion is no help. She is unable to tell you how long you need to wait, even though it is evident that you are in a hurry. It seems like incompetence starts from the receptionist with Pharmacy direct.

The next delivery was supposed to be on 28 February 2017. That has no happened yet. My mother has made two phone calls, which cost her money to make because she had to hold for 18minutes till someone assured her that her medication would be delivered.. and when it was not, that they had sent it with the wrong courier????

You have the lives of people in your hand, as they are dependant on this chronic medication.

This is unacceptable.
