Pathetic and very unprofessional behaviour from financial department

I received a statement on 17 May 2024 about an outstanding account which I was not aware off for October 2023. I was immediately threatened to be handed over to attorneys for collection like a ********! I mailed Bianca back and told her I was not aware and did not receive any statements and that account would be settled in full end of May 2024 which was done. I was still handed over to the attorneys after the account was settled in full and where system shows that I have a zero balance (I have proof in writing). According to Vanya, we were not handed over to the attorneys (which I have in writing), yet attorneys sent mail on 4 July 2024 that they will now proceed to go to court to collect outstanding money. Please do not ever make use of this company, you are a number and not a client and they are reluctant to resolve any issues and would rather give you a bad name than resolving issues. It took them more than 6 months to notice there was an outstanding amount and instead of being professional, they immediately go to threatening and abusive behaviour. The financial department needs rescue! If an account was not paid, why not just follow up in a professional manner? Vanya is putting the blame on the client as according to her the statement was issued with the medicine from January 2024, this account according to information was for October 2023.
