Life at risk

<p>We have been forced to use this service provider by Bonitas. Since we have been with this company we have had a couple of instances where deliveries were bumbled (late) of very important chronic medication. The latest incident is where we missed making a co-payment previously and high blood pressure medication was witheld. This company says they phone you to let you know - absolute ******* - neither myself nor my wife was contacted to be informed we must make the payment. Why was this not done before all the other medication was sent? We then enquired and made the payment and received proof of confirmation of payment from them on the 17 June 2017. (This was the last day I had life my life sustaining medication). After not receiving this we mailed them again on the 20 June 2017 to enquire as to what is happening, only to receive a mail late that day saying they will respond in 48 hours. I contacted them today and was told the medication will only be dispathed next week. Now if I have a heart attack in this time I am waiting - who is to blame? They could at the very latest have sent the medication on the 21 June after confirming proof of payment received on the 20 June. If Bonitas did not force me to be with this provider I would have had my mediaction by now by simply walking in at Dischem. This concept is a farce. It cannot work with something as important as chronic conditions and I believe this service provider must be booted by Bonitas so I can get my medication from reliable sources. I will send this post to Bonitas as well.</p>
