HERE’S IS THE TRACKING NUMBER BUT IT DOES NOT WORK
I find it extremely frustrating dealing with PHARMACY DIRECT. This was the latest.
I received an SMS from PHARMACY DIRECT with the following message: "Dear Mr [my name], Your medication from PHARMACY DIRECT has been sent today and will be delivered by courier service. Tracking Number: PD[******A***]."
There was no courier name with the message, so I contacted PHARMACY DIRECT. It is FedEx.
I went onto FedEx’s “Tracking” page and entered the tracking number given to me by PHARMACY DIRECT. I got the message: "Not found. This tracking number cannot be found, please check the number or contact the sender."
I contacted PHARMACY DIRECT via their “PaDi” website interface. Wistonia came on line. After many messages, with Wistonia giving me the same tracking number over and over again and me replying with the same message, “This tracking number cannot be found”.
It resembled a comedy sketch except I was fast losing my sense of humour.
Eventually, Wistonia rep****: "The tracking number work but it does not mean everybody can track parcels on the website".
Why send a tracking number to your clients if they cannot access the information to track it?
Unfortunately, if I don’t use PHARMACY DIRECT, my medical aid charges me a 40% co-payment on all my chronic medication so for now, I will put up with the frustration.
Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. We can confirm the Fund Account Manager called you on 22/06/2020 and discussed the matter.
The medication has been delivered.
Kind Regards
Pharmacy Direct Team

Yes, the medication has been delivered and I did speak to someone about the tracking number.
My post didn’t request a reply, it was to make the point which you missed completely.
If you send your clients a tracking number, make sure that:
1.
You indicate the name of the courier;
2.
Your client can get access to the web site page to be able to track it. The tracking number that you provided me was useless. It could only be used by Pharmacy Direct staff.
I suggest that your fund account manager order something from Take-a-Lot. A perfect example of how to keep customers informed about parcel deliveries.
