Wrong info- waste of time

I drive a smart fortwo car and my window has come loose from my electric mechanism moving my window up and down.<br> <br> So I emailed a query asking if PG glass would be able to fix the issue or replace the window and a friendly call centre angent phoned me back explaining the simplicity in fixing my window: either the window slipped off of the moving mechanism or one of the latches broke. Either way, please just bring your vechile to a brance and we will fix the problem. <br> <br> Very happily I took half a day leave, got everything ready and took my car to a branch in Menlyn(2.2 stars our of 5-according to google) and was told they dont fix this issue without even looking at my car? <br> <br> Im so confused since I gave my car specifications to the agent before she assure me I can bring my car in? <br> <br> What a waste of my time!
