Request for refund on shattered shower glass

On the 17/04/2023 the glass for the shower was installed. On 31/08/2023 the glad exploded and shattered. I notified PG Aluminium and was told without an assessment that movement in the tiles is the cause and I should claim from my insurance. So basically paid so much for the glass only for me to claim from insurance within such a short space of time. If they are aware that movement in tile causes the glass to shatter I should have been warned considering the safety risk involved. I would like to be refunded.
