PG Glass poor workmanship and worse service

<p>PG Glass in Richards Bay had the opportunity to replace the front windscreen and beading on a vehicle at a pannelbeater .</p> <p> </p> <p>The area around the windscreen had freshly been painted. PG installed a new window however neglected to replace the damaged trim.</p> <p> </p> <p>When this was queried the vehicle had to be taken in again at my inconvenience. The old beading was cut out and subsequent damage to the brand new paint job occurred.</p> <p>I was abruptly told that there will be no rust garantee on the "primer" they used and that "older" vehicles, despite having been newly painted, WILL have rust around their windscreens within 5 years subsequent to PG Glass working on it. </p> <p>A subsequent lecture followed on the fact that it is unreasonable of me not to expect rust on a vehicle that they worked on in KZN.</p> <p> </p> <p>Be warned about the above statement/garantee made by the "Specialists" </p> <p>Due the PG's neglegance I face a probable rust issue on a freshly painted vehicle. The sales lady/Manager's service was shocking, whilst insulting me for being concerned about the damage caused.</p> <p> </p> <p>Friendly advice from someone who made the mistake, avoid PG glass Richards bay if you do not want to be dissapointed, disrespected and put at risk </p>
