PG GLASS FOURWAYS - Not quite the experts

<p>PG replaced my 2010 BMW 135i windscreen probally about a month ago by now. Took some back & forthing explaining to them that they have been authorised to fit the BMW Glass & eventually got it right for them to understand the requirements.</p> <p>- Great Friendly & Profesional service.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />PROBLEM</p> <p>After fitment my Climate Control went crazy.</p> <p>Now u must be thinking - HOW? Well even I thought the same. it's like some clients saying "Since you replaced my windscreen my tires are flat" However in my case there is apparently a relation between my climate control and the windiscreen. My climate control now goes from cold to got, has bursts of blowing, hard soft, warm cold, front vents, foot vents, then windscreen vents etc.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />So I took my car back, explained the problem and in doing so, I have never seen a collective bunch of people seem more confused than that in my life! So they pulled down the rear view mirror and wires were dangling, so they apologised & said sorry this should be stuck to he windscreen. Tried the climate control thereafter and there was barely a change.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />The windscreen glue was sticking out in the side pillars of the car, I had to ask them to please trim it off, because that can't be their standard. My flippen Dash cam able was glued into the windscreen and upon removal, the cable BROKE off because it's all glued in !!</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Yesterday my car went for a service and the Mechanic called me to show me the loose windscreen rubbers that was hidden behind the plastics in the engine bay, NEVER RETURNED !!</p> <p> </p> <p><br />THE more I ook at PG Fourways's work the more I realise I cannot go back there & let them touch my vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Here is what I need.</p> <p>Find a expert that knows about windscreen fitting on BMW's (No rain sensor)</p> <p>Find a expert or ask the entire PG Glass group if they have ever come across a climate control problem before on a BMW after fitting a windscreen. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE OFFERING TO FIX YOUR MISTAKE BY GUESS WORK.</p> <p>- I need the broken dashcam wires cut out of the windscreen glue.</p> <p>- I need you to educate yourself thoroughly about how the climate control works on a 2010 BMW E82 135i Coupe and what glue the sensor should be stuck with to the windscreen (if any)</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Contact me for details but please do not expect me to return to PG Fourways because they are absolutely dumbstruck the this problem and never heard of things in their lives and have no clue what's wrong, but when you see the fitment work, it's obvious why they don't know what's wrong . </p> <p> </p> <p><br />Please, let's get this sorted - somewhere someone must have had this problem before, if not please phone arround, Google and find out before getting my car to a shop "that will have a look" </p> <p> <br />Thanx guys.</p> <p>Regards Nev</p>
