Incorrect windscreen fitted poorly

My windscreen recently cracked. I spoke to my insurance company and followed the process they provided.

They said that I can use PG Glass, which I did.

I arranged for the fitment at my office so the mobile unit came and did the installation.

Before they started I asked 3 questions 1. Is it the original manufacturers windscreen 2. Does it have the shadow line at the top 3. Can they test the wiper and light sensors once they are done

It turns out that it is not an original windscreen which will now impact trade value if I want to sell It also does not have the shadow line Lastly the sensors at least all work but I had to refit the covers on the inside as they were just hanging next to the mirror And then to my surprise if I sit in the front seat I can see the blobs of excess adhesive on the inside of the windscreen

Needless to say I am very annoyed as the car is less than 2 years old

I have tried multiple times to contact PG Glass but no call centre agent can help me. Also regardless of when I phone the team leaders/ managers are in “a meeting”. No messages left for them to call me back result in them actually phoning me. The live chat on the website only resulting in me getting the same call centre numbers

I would seriously caution anyone from using PG Glass ...

Are you going to respond as I see many people before me also just got this generic response?

Further to the above, I have been advised that the car was also damaged when PG replaced the windscreen Sidestrips next to the windscreen @ cost of R1300 to replace Paint damage to bonnet @ R3000 to repair Also the replacement by the manufacturer with original windscreen worked out R1000 less than what PG charged I would therefore advise people to think twice before having their windscreens replaced here
