********

So I requested a quote via their online interface,

Eventually an agent phoned me, requested details and gave me a quote.

R550 to replace a cracked 50x50cm window - including fitment,

I repeated the quoted amount, on confirmation: "great! when?"

Then I asked for an email of the quote, which was declined since they will leave the invoice at home so I can effect the EFT.

ON THE DAY

The installer claimed R950, which is obviously about 80% more than the quoted amount - which I contested. The call center phoned me and ask what the confusion was: guess what?

'No one would ever quote R550 since the standard quote is always R950'

Really!

Then the installer complained since they expect cash - no I already got the confirmation that an EFT is expected.

Then: I recalled an incident from 2011 which was __exactly__ the same, quoted R670, charged R980.

Conclusion: PG Glass is a dishonest instiutute

DO NOT USE THEM: EVER
