Cracked Confidence

I cannot believe the audacity of this company. 5 months ago I took my car in for a chip repair and window tinting at their Midrand branch. Whilst inside making a booking one of their employees decided he would go ahead and "fix" my windscreen chip. He used a lighter to apply the adhesive and decided to use a metal chisel tool to remove the excess. Needless to say, this left unsightly and horrible scratches on my windscreen which were worse than the actual chip. I have since been trying to get them to remedy this and was told that since he doesn't have any money I should foot the bill of R6500. I have tried everything from contacting their head office to leaving emails on their official website but to no avail. I'm am so frustrated now because the chip has now become a full on Crack. Surely the employee/company must rectify this at no cost to me because it was done without my permission in the first place. Can anyone please advice me on how to remedy this because I cannot go on like this. PG must take ownership for their employees.
