BEWARE - It will cost more than you are quoted!

I went to PG Glass Satellite branch (Greenstone) to get a chip in my windscreen repaired. The attendant confirmed that the chip could be repaired and quoted me R499, which I accepted. The technician then proceeded with the repair and then came and told me that the windscreen cracked whilst she was repairing it and that now I need a new windscreen costing R3,200. She said she would speak to her manager to get a discount as she had cracked the windscreen. When quoting me the R499, there was no mention that the windscreen might crack and could land up costing me a lot more. So instead of me paying R499, I had to pay 5 TIMES that amount (R2 600.) I wrote to PG Glass by email explaining the situation, without response. I received a rating SMS from PG Glass in which I rated them 2 out of 10. They then asked if I would like "to give you a call to discuss your service experience." I rep**** in the affirmative. They then send me a number that I must call. I am still waiting for them to call me! Clearly they don't care
