Waiting > 8 weeks for parts

My daughter's 2021 208 broke down on 12 December 2024 and was towed to SMH Bryanston. It took 4 weeks to get a diagnosis from them and confirmation that the clutch had to be replaced - fortunately still under warrantee (sidenote: the car has less than 12,000 km's on the clock!). But: 4 week backorder for the part. Since then I have had no feedback on progress and only empty promises about a rental covered by the warrantee. Next week it will be 2 months and still no update despite me phoning 3 -4 times a week. No one can give me an answer and I even escalated it to the workshop manager. I liked the brand but we decided to sell the vehicle when we (eventually) get it back as this is now the 2nd time we had to wait >6 weeks for a part. This means that there are NO parts in stock in country which is totally unacceptable. Big thumbs down to both Peugeot and SMH
