Unsatified service and results

I Bought an 2001 Peugeot 206 GTI 2L with 40000km Private sale. The Airbag light came on and I took it to Peugeot Pietermaritzburg branch. They advised me that it could be any of the following items -The indicator switch, the Airbag trigger switch or the main Air bag computer box. They told me that they need to put it on their computer and it came out to be the computer trigger was faulty. I replaced the Indicator switch as it was not clicking back properly and was happy to do so but when the Computer box come I chose to get another mechanic to strip so I would not have to pay the R786 fee for 1.2 hours of which took 10 minutes to take the covers off. We took the vehicle to them to run their computer to erase this error and they Charged me R950 to do this . When I queried why are they charging this amount but on my quotation was for stipe and install they claim this was including programing. (Note the different pricing all of a sudden) They said I can collect the vehicle and when I did they said it has not resolved anything but as there initial quote they said I need to change everything as there computer cannot pin point the exact faulty part. They also have stated that they do not manufacture this airbag and will get back to me (this is a month now and no response about this. I asked them why do I need to pay for all these items and no results and if they cannot get the airbag anymore what are they going to do to resolve this issue. My biggest concern is , is my life under danger for a faulty airbag as no one is able to isolate the problem and why is it that I need to pay for parts and labour and diagnostics which are not faulty. If they need to try all these parts it should be at by Peugeot cost for them to isolate the problem. Not once have they taken my safety in consideration or tried to find out a solution except that I must buy all these parts till they find the problem. They have also said that there parts are none refundable once used but as per the consumer act I am almost certain they are incorrect. I have now paid in total of +_ R9000 to resolve this problem and nothing has been solved except my indicator switch is working properly.
