This is no way to treat a client

I booked my car in for it to be repaired - of which I was told the clutch needed to be replaced. Its been with the dealer for 2 weeks now and was told that I needed to pay R3000 for it to be stripped, I don't understand why I need to pay that for them to ascertain the problem of the car. I was quoted R13018 in total for the clutch of which my insurance would pay R2000. To my surprise im now quoted R11540 less R2000 which balances to R9540. If at 1st I was quoted that shouldn't I be paying R11018?? Where is the truth in their pricing in parts, how does one trust anything they say - please can I have my car back?
