Peugeot South Africa - Fourways: Most Disappointing Experience Ever
This has been the most disappointing and appalling experience I’ve ever had from a manufacturer / dealership / service provider.
I service my car at peugeot Fourways, whilst the service consultant tries her personal best, it is fruitlessly disappointing because of the very pathetic and hopeless internal business processes. The frustrating part is that even Peugeot South Africa has no clue when parts will be delivered from Peugeot France.
They very poor service stems amongst other things, from the uncer*****y on dates of delivery for simple parts like brakes and oil pumps. It is outrageous that a car manufacturer for such a big market as South Africa has to order parts from France to service their customers. I have had to wait for brakes to be delivered for 30 days just to replace them. Now I am having to wait for fuel pump which they initially and blatantly **** was available locally.
The worst part of this experience is that they do not take or return your calls and you have to physically go there and only after expressing your frustration, they then pass the line amongst each others offering all sorts illogical explanations. What is even more appalling is the courtesy vehicle that’s no different from a death trap that they provide.
If I knew or had read the reviews of Peugeot, I would never have bought a peugeot. Whilst the vehicles might drive fine, their awfully disgraceful business, operations and service makes them the worst car brand to own in South Africa. This is probably the last time I will own one. And I hope people desist from buying Peugeot in South Africa until their service improves and they make conscientious efforts to address all the problems raised by the reviewers on here.
