Peugeot SA - your service is Appalling !!!

From their website - http://www.peugeot.co.za/services-and-accessories/peugeot-parts/parts-pricing-availability.html

Parts Availability: Parts distribution from Peugeot’s dedicated local warehouse has improved dramatically with speedy parts supply and minimum delays in delivery to our Dealer Network.

Parts Pricing: As a result of hard work behind the scenes, with both our local suppliers and Peugeot France, we have been able to introduce an aggressive programme to promote the competitive cost of Peugeot parts and after-sales service to counter the negative perception in South Africa that French cars are expensive to run.

Parts pricing and availability influence long-term ownership and we have made it our priority to invest in our customers – both past and present - with cost effective and prompt delivery of parts.

My problem is, that I like my Peugeot, I like driving it, I don't want to sell it. But I am definitely going to have to!!

My employer has now raised the concern to me, that my car has been in for repairs twice this year, that left me unable to work for a week period at a time. Now, I know there are many aspects to be considered when viewing a customer complaint, as I myself am in sales, and I can imagine when it comes to car services and parts, it gets even more complicated... Peugeot SA, .. could someone PLEASE explain to me, WHY it is so difficult to get a part out of your company? Why are they so expensive... why do you employ people in customer care, that quite obviously do not CARE for me... YOUR customer? They do not call back, they are not apologetic...they are not helpful... Do you send them for training?

If you have a problem with your system... Is that MY problem? You can send the part out on a hard copy "old time" delivery receipt, and invoice me in an old fashioned way.. I DONT CARE... what I DO care about is having a car that I can work with, as MY salary depends on MY sales. Why should I be inconvenienced for your system problem?

YES, your above statement made on your website... " counter the negative perception in South Africa that French cars are expensive to run. " You have such a bad reputation, that you have to counter it, with a public statement on your website? Best of all is, THEY still ARE... above that, price is not always everything, otherwise BMW, Audi & Mercedes would be out of business... The Truth is, people want service above price most of the time!!

So, could you do me and many South Africans a favour, go and investigate how your competitors operate, take notes, and make adjustments to your system and business... Cause Clearly what you doing AINT working!!!
