Peugeot SA - 42 days and still counting - waiting time for parts and no courtesy car!

Beware of buying a Peugeot these days. They are quick to sell you one, but boy their service afterwards is dismal. I have had problems with my Peugeot 208 GT line since August last year (2018). I reported it to my dealership (Lambons) who immediately pointed out that they were not going to continue servicing Peugeots as they are closing their Peugeot service centre. My car was still under guarantee at that stage. I had to drive twice to Welkom Peugeot just to get my car serviced and the problem still prevailed. In December I drove to Capetown and the problems kept on coming back, so much so that I took it to Somerset Peugeot to have it checked out. I was told it was an intermitant problem and they could not replace the part yet. I January the problem became permanent and I again went to Welkom Peugeot to get it checked out. This was the 29th of January 2019. When they opened the engine up, they said that I could not drive any further and that they would have to order the parts. I had to pay to get back to Bloemfontein and today marks day 42 without any vehicle. Still the parts have not arrived and they told me they will not give me a courtesy car as my guarantee has expired in October 2018. If they fixed the problem in the first place, I would have a courtesy vehicle to drive with while they take their time to acquire the parts, but no, now it is not possible to get me a courtesy car. It is costing me a fortune to rent a car to do my work as well as all the petrol to get to Welkom each time and back. No Peugeot ever again!
