Peugeot Citroen South Africa and horrible service
I got involved in an accident and I claimed for my vehicle in February. I hired a car with my insurance and my 30 days lease ended. I called my panel beaters to find out how come my vehicle is still not repaired within 30 days and they notified me that Peugeot SA said my part would arrive on the 3rd of April and now they later moved it to the 29th of April. I called the HQ in SA & a lady by the name of Jermaine Wood who is so rude and lacks telephone etiquette and customer service has been my point of contact and has been of no help at all. She promised to call me to update me on Friday the 26th of March & did not I ended up picking up the phone and calling them again for an update. They keep calling me with more problems than I already have on my plate by not having a vehicle due to them calling themselves a manufacturer but have no parts, I wonder what they are manufacturing exactly. To make it even worse they have a policy which was explained to me that they have had it in place for the past 10years that they cannot supply or assist consumers who have been in an accident with an alternative such as a vehicle etc for their convenience even though the parts not arriving are their fault and my 30days has come and gone with insurance. I’m inconvenienced by Peugeot Citroen SA at the moment, I can’t travel to work as I should not can I run any errands and I’m yet to experience this for another month of April. I’m chasing 3months without a vehicle due to them back dating my part at every chance they get and yet don’t provide solutions. What is the point of escalating matters when they themselves revert back to the end user with more problems and not solutions. I’m disappointed and have never experienced such service from them before. My vehicle was purchased in August 2020 which isn’t my first Peugeot and I’m on the verge of changing to another brand when it returns if this is the kind of service they serve to their consumers.
