Peugeot Cape Town Doesn't Know The Meaning Of Customer Service

My wife and I bought a Peugeot 307 Oxygo towards the end of February 2019. We wanted to fit new tyres before putting the car through roadworthy and registration but the tyre shop noticed that the security lock studs on all wheels were badly damaged. I decided to put new, but standard, studs in their place as the security studs were just price way to high. I got a quote from Peugeot Cape Town which had one and had too order the other three studs. At first I thought that this is a welcome change in the world today to find a place that still believes in good customer service. Well, those thoughts went out the window pretty quickly. The studs is the only thing holding me back now from roadworthy. The guy at the parts department at Peugeot Cape Town, doesn't return phone calls, has a different story every time I have to phone after him and just doesn't bother keeping me up to date with what is going on. I have even contacted the dealer principal about this thinking that there would be joy there. He also gave me some sob story of them having some huge backlog and that the stock on hand at the main distribution hub (I found out that they had and that it wouldn't be a problem to get them if Cape Town just ordered them) wasn't necessarily what was truly on hand, etc. The main thing is that I have been struggling with them for a month now. They don't call to update me, I have to call them. When I do, there is always a different story. If a part was to take two months to order and distribute then they could've told me from the start , then at least I would've known and wouldn't have bothered so much but up till today, no such thing. I work in the motor industry myself (For another brand of vehicle) and we pride ourselves at the branch where I am situated on keeping the customers up to date with information with regards to parts ordered etc. I will never in my life deal with these clowns again unless I really have to. I will order my parts from a branch of Peugeot in future that WANTS to help customers and keep them happy.
