Peugeot 107 clutch kit RIPOFF

To Peugeot management...<br> <br> I made an inquiry at the Peugeot dealership in Fourways about my potentially faulty clutch. The query was that in the worst case scenario, what would it cost to replace the clutch (with a clutch kit) on a 107, all inclusive. A gentleman called me back 10 minutes later and indicated a quote of about R5500, I asked if that was all inclusive, and he confirmed it was.<br> <br> given that this (to me) is a fair price, I booked the car in for the work to be done. To my surprise, when I dropped the car off, I was told that there is no way the cost is R5500 but more like R15000! He said its about R5000 just for labour to check the damage. I told the service guy that is completely crazy, so I left. <br> <br> I now have the car at a Bosch service centre, where they will charge me R4500 ALL inclusive, labour, clutch parts (Sachs, so decent parts) and even VAT.<br> <br> Peugeot is *********** customers!! I even called to make sure I did not waste my time...<br> <br> nobody can warrant such a expensive quote, for what are cheap parts (Toyota clutch) and what is about 4 hours of labour (confirmed with other companies who have quoted me).
