Pay full price for a faulty car

Peugeot 208 VTI Access bought brand new from Peugeot Tygervalley in July 2015.

Day 1 issues:

- Break lights stays on

- Terrible noise on breaks

Excuses made by Service Manager and DP:

- It is the way you drive in peak traffic (Yeah I am the only one that drives in peak traffic)

- When water and sand mixes and splashes underneath your car it creates a noise on your breaks, you need to go to a garage and blow it out (right because it rains 365 days a year)

- There is dust on your breaks (Yes because I had the car for three months then *sarcasm*)

How do you buy a brand new car and there is dust on the breaks?

I have now once again booked my car in for them to decide what the next excuse would be as to why my break lights is now completely DEAD. First it stayed on even when they stood outside of my car with the break light switch in their hands.

Received a "courtesy call" on 12 August 2016 - "Mam would you like our HQ to give you a call?" Me - Yes please. It is now 23 August 2016 and no one has been in contact with me. Do they care? No!

It is absolutely wonderful that I (the customer) has to pay full price for buying a faulty car... latent defects ring a bell?

The last excuse that there is nothing they can do, I will just have to bring the car in EVERY time there is a problem with this anomaly of break lights. Because it is absolutely no inconvenience for me to leave work to suit their needs. Because clearly Peugeot pays my salary.... pffft

I go in today 23 August 2016 - book in my car - "Sorry we cannot help you until 5 September 2016" Just drive without break lights for 2 weeks... Will you be paying any fines I receive? Because clearly this does not affect you in anyway... right?! "Oh and just FYI if we dont have the part, you will have to wait between 2 to 15 days for the part (break light switch)".

I have been so understanding, doing what they ask... and now everyone just throws their hands up in the air!

Be sure to cover my funeral costs should, oh help me, my breaks fail! Because who knows what will pop up next. The car is a year old!

So I pay full price on a faulty car because no one cares... money is in your pocket already! I asked this question to the Service Manager and to Philip the DP - Yes I know you are sorry but sorry will not fix my break lights, it definitely will not fix the sound the breaks make and neither will it make up for the time I have to waste to drive up and down... and the best thing... wait for it... "We will drop you off and you need to find your own way back"... Putret Service!

FYI - even some of the staff wants me to complain about this branch... What does that tell you??!

Completely and utterly disappointed... It is not your money so you do not care!

And please i do not wish to speak to anyone from this branch as it clearly will not help my situation AT ALL! been there, done that... still have the faulty car!
