Pathetic Service and misleading information
I drive a Citroen C4 2012 model. An engine warning light came on, i took the car to Citroen Northcliff for a check. The informed me that my car needs to be taken to the Engineers for an assessment, and should it need repairs it will cost approx. R24,000 to R30,000. When they sent the quote, the amount quoted was R52,000 (ridiculous). So I informed them that i do not have that much money, so I arranged for my car to be collected on Monday 19th November 2018, and they need to ensure that it is in a drivable condition, i did not get any response. On that Monday, i received a call from the dealership informing me that my car will not be in a drivable condition because the Engineers had to remove some parts. This was never discussed with me prior to taking the car, and when they were working on that cylinder head. Today I called the Workshop Manager, and he said there is nothing they can do cause the parts were removed, and the car cannot be driven. I asked him why wasn't this said to me before, he said, why didn't i ask. What should I have asked? It is not my problem that they did not inform me of this, I want my car to be in a drivable condition as i left it at the dealership. This is the worst customer service ever, and to top it off, they come back with a quote of R52,000 after that estimated R24,000 to R30,000. I just see this as a money making scheme by the dealership, and unfortunately, i do not have that money. It's sickening and ridiculous how inconsiderate the dealerships could be, why did they not inform me of all of this. I mean when a patient goes for a procedure, the Doctor will explain all the pros and cons. In this instance, the pros and cons where not explained at ALL. This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
