Need to buy new key for a broken button

The button on my car remote is broken but they don't sell any covers only new keys. Now I have to pay R1500 for a new key. They are unwilling to try and locate second hand cover. You must buy a new key! Come guys. Get some spare parts in your shops and stop *********** consumers!
