Motor manufacturer-PCSA wearing the customer down into submissiom

It is common for a franchised motor dealer to order the incorrect part number from the manufacturer, as there are so many different part numbers. After many years in the motor industry, the dealer could return the incorrect part number to the manufacturer and receive the correct part number. I purchased a Citroen C1 for my daughter, who was to start her studies, and we both enjoyed driving this little car. Unfortunately, the power string unit needed to be replaced, so we visited the franchised dealer in Centurion, and they provided us with a quote and the part number, which we subsequently ordered. Soon, the dealer closed down, and we went to another Peugeot/Citroen dealer to fit the part. The fitting dealer informed us that it was the incorrect part and ordered the correct part. Being in the motor industry, I was not concerned as the dealer could return the incorrect part, which was ordered by a franchised Peugeot/ Citroen dealer. PCSA would not take the part back into stock, so I took my case to the Motor Industry Ombudsman. After many emails, they also gave up and referred me to the National Consumer Commission. After many months of emails, I was 'worn out' and dropped my attempts . The part is now on display in my entrance hall, and my friends and guests inquire why I have a motor car part on display. I then tell them my sad and tiring experience with PCSA. I am happy to sell this part back to PCSA as I have all the paperwork. Its so sad as we both enjoyed driving this car.
