Kicking your clients back for a fast buck or two!

<p>I am furious that Peugeot says it is my fault that my car is late for its service because I should have known the date and not gone on the details given by the car to the driver. I am furious that Peugeot says it is my fault that my car is late for its service because I should have known the date and not gone on the details given by the car to the driver. So why do you put in the function if us owners should not go on that details? Why not print it on a slip and have us stick it on the dash of the car? After a while deliberating the latter point Peugeot said they will now pay for the service. Then I was told I understood them wrong and they will only pay for certain things. Not sure "the good news is that the warrantee department has decided to pay for your service" can mean that I have to now pay for a fan belt, brake pads, disks and other things, mirror etc. They claim the brake pads have damaged the disk pads, thats strange, did you not see the problem a couple of weeks ago when I brought the car in because it said break failure, ebs failure, gearbox failure, engine failure. It was the second time in two months before today that the car had to go in for simular gearbox/engine noises. The fact that when you leave the petrol the car made this noise and felt like a bump. All these times never did anyone check the wheels etc.

Suddenly issues that the car had and I took the car in for in recent months were I was told was no problem or they found and sorted, although it remained a problem, suddenly they have to fix it. Did they not fix it? Why do they want to make money out of me now for work that was supposed to be done ages ago. Was it left in order for me to have to pay once out of warrantee.

The fact is that Peugeot was happy to let me drive a car with a issue with a gearbox/engin mounting and brakes just to be able to charge me for it when the experation of the warrantee came along.

In November last year for my annual service I told the guys at Peugeot Hatfield that my passenger mirror will not go down, but it is fine to go up, left and right. Yet, then I was told that the entire mirror must be replaced. Early December I was told I can come in and have the unit fitted. But, it was the wrong color. They said they would need to spray it. Why lie? Why cheat?

I was seriously after a new car. But, if this is what your business has turned into I won't have any part of it.

I was seriously after a new car. But, if this is what your business has turned into I won't have any part of it.

The dealership has suddenly remembered that I was in fact correct and should not have been treated like a lier as they expressed about the mirror.
They further are now charging me for ;

Switch Brake
Drive belt (fan belt) (did they not see that the fanbelt was a issue when they looked at the engin and gearbox issue the last two times the car was there in just a couple of months)

Link

Brake pads x 4 that they now claim is not neccessary because there is 50% and 40% usage only

Brake disk (damaged by the old pads, that today they claim as line above has no problems)

Engin mounting bracket ((specifically told in July that al was in order (did they not see that the mounting was cracked when they looked at the engin and gearbox issue the last two times the car was there in just a couple of months))

I am not going to leave this here. I as person have been treated as if I am trying to ***** and as if I am lying. I will not stop my online campaigne until I have the answers and that Hatfield or warrantee takes responsibility. How dare I be told my 'version' of the mirror is not right. I do not lie. I do not *****. I believe in honesty and decency. 4 things I have yet to see from Peugeot!!
