Finding a job card

My daughters car a 3008 engine was repaired some 11 months ago and broke down again. Peugeot in Western cape George is now looking for the job card to determine what work was done because the warranty is still valid. Hatfield now says they have a new filing system and need more time to find the jc. How long should it take?
