Faulty Power steering pump and car only has 64k km

Hi. My name is Neil Myburgh from Bloemfontein. My wife purchased a peugeot 207 1.4 pop art in December 2011 brand new, with vin BW048971 registration number FBT096FS.<br> I have always had good service from Lambons Peugeot Bloemfontein South africa, My car has never missed a service from thier dealership. My car Is out of warranty but has only 64300kms on the clock. I am however a little dissappointed at the brand Peugeout self in the sence with such low kilos how is it possible that the power steering unit on this car fails? If you do a search over the internet you will see world wide that this is a common problem with the Peugeots accross the range. How is it that a recall was never done if this is a common problem? Never the less iam sitting with a problem. <br> According to your workshop the problem is with part nr ***. They quoted me R5268.13 without fitment for this part. This is a lot of money especially on a car thats barely out of its warranty and only has 64300kms. I am requesting that Peugeot pay at least half the costs seeing the car has such little kms on, or is the type of service that peugeots offer after warranty has expired 10 months ago. Please help.
