Citroen left us for dead!

So Friday the 13th played his trick on us😢🥺..... After leaving Kruger Park Lodge at 9am after a fabulous few days, our Citroën decided to stop driving 70km outside Nelspruit on our way home. After calling Citroën roadside assistance (several times and holding on for 45 minutes) they eventually said they will come and tow the car to Nelspruit. So, what about us we ask. 'we can only take the car' really? We are stuck in the middle of nowhere and it's 40 gazillion degrees🥵🥵. Eventually, 'we can take you 40km.....so do we need to walk the other 33km??? No, we need to get a quote (R3000). After a long fight😡🤬okay we can drive with the tow truck driver in his truck. We get to Westvaal Motor Group Citroën Nelspruit (after 3 and a half hours of extreme heat). They test the car and nothing seems wrong, we can go. So, off we go. Worried and driving slow all goes well.... And kid you not😳..... At exactly the same spot (too the meter) the car breaks again. Now it's already 17h30 and getting dark. Danie started calling Citroën and for almost an hour NO ANSWER!🤬 He contacts the same tow truck guy who's number whe got during round 1 and he convinces him to collect us-at a huge cost of course-at exactly the same pin drop we sent him earlier (which at first he thought was a joke) and take us home. Eventually Citroën answers and 'we will call you back sir' well, no one ever called back. Thank you Citroën, we could have been dead next to that dark road if we waited for you. Shame on you (oh did I say the car was serviced 2 weeks ago and still in warranty). A big shout out to our hero of the day🙌🙌 Highland Towing and our fabulous driver, Freddy, who went back to the yard to collect the double cab truck so we could all fit and worked a double shift to get us safely back home doing a ****m round trip. We owe (probably literally) our lives to you! Did I mention, shame on you Citroën (who still never called us back) you haven't heard the last of us!! . Safely back home 23h38 (8 and a half hours later than our original ETA).
