Citroën and the R41 000 pane of platinum plated glass

So I have a Citroën C3 Picasso Panarama with a glass roof, and recently I drove behind a large vehicle which shot up something, causing the roof to crack. I duly phoned Citroën to get a quote on the piece of glass, which I estimate to be little more than 1m x 1m and got a quoted a price of R41 000. Now I do not know where Citroën SA gets off charging R41k for a piece of glass like that when windshields on bigger cars go for far less, but this is daylight ******* on the same scale as the recent FTX crypotocurrency exchange collapse! I think someone at Citroën is thinking that they need to charge similar prices for parts as those used on Ferraris, Rolls Royce and Maybach cars.
