Car Service comes back with new fault
Our copany bought a Second Hand Peugeot 308 in March 2015, no service books in stock still awaiting promised service book.
From last year I had to send the car back 3-4 times to fix the USB, with it coming back with the cigarette lighter not working.
Send car for first service in October, brakes not done but told it would be done on next service.
Beginning January brakes had to be done costing +/- R5k, on collecting the car on 15th January within hours it breaks down.
I am told to drop the car over the weekend and security would take the key to put in the drop box.
I go to drop car on 17th January for security to tell me he is not allowed to take the keys.
Monday 18th January arrange with Peugeot to fetch the keys to the car.
We are informed that it is the Catalytic converter with cost of +/- R13.5k to replace.
Peugeot took policy on our behalf with SA Warranty on purchase of car.
From Monday 18th till today 21st January to sort out the warranty as according to SA Warranty Peugeot has not been paying the policy. It cost us numerous phone calls to SA Warranties whilst Peugeot just send emails.
Policy will only cover R7.5k of R13k to repair.
The service received is pathetic.
