Boot lock mechanism on order since 18/12

The boot lock mechanism on my daughters C1 packed up in December. She took the car in and a job card was opened on the 18th. Today, despite numerous calls to Citroen we are still waiting for a part from France. Ryan @ Citroen is never able to give me an estimate delivery date and continually says he is waiting for a back order report. He does really seem to concerned about his clients and believes we must just accept and wait
