Direct to garment machine
About six months ago we purchased a direct to garment machine from you. With it, we purchased the ink for this machine.
Problems with this machine started from the day it was installed, and the head was damaged. A new head was ordered, and upon arrival this head also didn’t work, a second hand head was then taken from a demo unit from your offices, but also didn’t work.
We purchased this machine with the idea that we can no do direct to garment printing inhouse. Instead we hade to either show away potential business, or we had to outsource the printing we accepted. Either way, this machine has not generated 1c since we purchased it.
Now we have been promised a new machine, of which there will only be 2 in South Africa, one by us, and one by you. So there will be no support, no parts, and you really don’t know how well this machine will work as you will only now start testing it. And the most important part is, we don’t have business for it. Instead we ask, replace this machine with a direct to object machine, which is the same price as this machine you offer us, but you want us to pay in R40 000?
We have been very patient with you, but at the moment we only see two options. Pay back our money we paid for the machine plus the ink that run out due to an error on your technicians side. And all the testing done, that ended up in nothing, plus the loss of income for six months since we purchased this machine (this is what we will ask for when we take this to the small claims court, and we will not spend that money by you.) Replace this machine with the direct to object machine as we requested, with no extra cost to us. As you are well aware, we have recently purchased quite a few machines from you, and would like to stay with one supplier for our machines. We paid money towards a machine that was suppose to generate money for us, but for the last six month, has done nothing but gather dust.
