Poor customer service and care
Hi team I'm writing on this page seeking some justice on the unfair treatment I've received from Simba
On the 22nd of November 2018 I went to Boulder's shopping center in Midrand to buy some groceries and I bought a packet of Simba salted peanuts only to find that the peanuts are contaminated with raisins of which I'm allergic too I sent an Inbox to Simba Facebook page with pictures of their contaminated product and I explained to them my health situation over a period of 24hrs there was no respond I took an initiative to call their customer care as a follow on my matter
The following day I was extremely ill vomiting and experiencing stomach cramps I went to the nearest GP and I was offered 2days sick leave
I've explained all these details to Simba and they asked for a documents to support my case and I provided all the relevant documents i.e copy of sick note, affidavit, doctors claim form and consent form
After providing them with all these documents they sent me a R80 voucher to compensate for all my troubles
I was very embarrassed I felt this is an insult and I rep**** back to them to say this is not acceptable and it's not reasonable they sent me another settlement letter of R400 I also rejected it and I emphasized that offer is not even covering my medical costs let alone my health conditions I've been through infected by their product
Yesterday they sent me another settlement offer of R400 cash plus R200 voucher I also rejected it and did enlighten them that I'm reaching out for support since they are failing to settle with a reasonable offer
Your support will be highly appreciated
Thanks Linda
