New 2 litre plastic bottle is a terrible design

<p>The new 2 litre plastic Pepsi bottle is an absolutely terrible design.</p> <p>Initial glance at the old and new bottles, you'd not be able to see the difference.</p> <p>But when you pick it up, I usually us the extended lip around the cap area, it slips away from the fingers/hand.<br />I can see no other reason, for reducing the length of that extension lip, other than a cost saving exercise (ie similar to the airlines a single olive saving technique)</p> <p>So be careful - I've dropped them a few times now bouncing of the floor - luckily the cap has been tight enough not to make a mess. <br /> But I'm loathing the time I drop a full bottle on my foot/toes.</p>
