I received a bad treatment from Park Central pep store the associate called Portia she disrespected me to the point

FORMAL COMPLAINT REGARDING POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE – Pep Store Johannesburg Park Central

Dear Pep Store Management

I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding the treatment I received from Portia, an employee at Pep Park Central.

I went to the store to send items through PAXI. Unfortunately, I accidentally tore the plastic while handling the parcel. It was an honest mistake, but instead of handling the situation professionally, Portia spoke to me in a very disrespectful and humiliating manner, as if I had deliberately damaged the plastic.

She instructed me to purchase another plastic, which I had absolutely no problem with. I paid another R140 for a replacement. My complaint is not about paying for the plastic; it is about the unacceptable way I was treated.

What hurt me even more was that she also spoke harshly to another female employee, possibly a trainee, who was assisting me at the time. I was shocked by the way she treated both of us. I honestly felt humiliated, disrespected and emotionally hurt. I was left not knowing how to respond because I never expected to be treated that way as a customer.

I strongly believe that Portia needs further customer service training, particularly in how to communicate with customers and treat fellow employees with respect. Making a mistake does not give anyone the right to belittle, shout at or disrespect another person.

My request to Pep Store Management is to please investigate this matter, address Portia's conduct and ensure that she receives the necessary training. The way she treated me could happen to another customer, and I believe no customer should ever leave a store feeling the way I did.

I value good customer service, and I believe every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

I hope this complaint will be taken seriously and that appropriate action will be taken.
