Pedros Promenade (Mitchell's Plain, Cape town)

I placed an order (290) for sit down at the promenade branch (cape town) on 28th Feb 2024 at 17:08. The cashier assumed that the order was for "takeaway", however I asked her to change it to sit down as I wanted to enjoy my meal at pedros. The cashier then changed it to sit down and asked me to go with another one of your employees to show me to a table and it was done. Thereafter, a different employee by the name of ANATHI came to my table and said that my order was for takeaway and not for sit down. I explained to her that it was for sit down but she was adamant that it was for takeaway and the proceeded to tell me that she has people that ordered for sit down and that they needed the table. I then told her that my order is for sit down and she left. After waiting for about 25 minutes, I asked her if she could check how far my order is and she said "go check it yourself, I only do sit down" her tone was anything but welcoming and customer friendly. I was shocked by her attitude. I then went to the manager and told her what had just happened and I requested for my money back as I was not going to enjoy my meal after being spoken to like that. The manager returned my money and all she said was "I'm sorry, I'll speak to her". This is unacceptable and very much disgusting coming from a sector that renders customer service. Anathi has zero customer service skills and she needs to be taken to task.
