N1 city Pedros Horrible Customer Service!

Pedro's Chicken N1 City Value Centre Good day,

I would like to formally bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had at the Pedro's Chicken N1 City Value Centre branch. On my visit to the store in Cape Town, the cashier, Chuma, was extremely dismissive. There was no greeting, no acknowledgement, and no basic customer service while we were placing our order.

She also failed to inform us about the current promotion where customers could win a car by purchasing the Carnival Meal. Instead, we purchased the Viva Meal for 4, which excluded drinks, and only later realized that we could have received a 1.5L drink with the Carnival Meal and potentially an entry into the competition had we been properly advised. We decided to sit in, but when the food arrived, it was cold. We ordered a whole chicken, yet what was served looked like random pieces thrown together on a plate. The burger was dry and very unappetizing.

To make matters worse, my husband had to get up and ask for a takeaway bag because no one offered any assistance. The overall hygiene and presentation were also concerning, the saltshaker on the table had dry rice inside it, which is unacceptable. I have never experienced service like this at any Pedro's branch. I regularly visit your Zevenwacht store and the service there is always warm, friendly, and professional. This experience at N1 City made me feel like I wasted my money, and honestly, I could have gone to McDonald’s and received better quality and service.

I am requesting that this matter be investigated and addressed accordingly, as this level of service does not align with the standards of your brand. Thank you for your attention. I logged a complaint with you store on Monday which was closed on Tuesday without my consent I was contacted by Abongile the manager which he gave me a story about following an internal process he advised he was working till 11 and he will contact me bare in mind I have emails telling him that I want my email to remain open! its Wednesday and I still have not been contacted.
