Disappointing Experience at Pedro's

I am a huge Pedro's fan love their food. Started eating it probably 3 years now. If there is a Pedro's outlet in my proximity I order it without a doubt. Expecting the same standard, I stopped by Pedro's (first time) Piet Retief while rushing to Joburg, and I mentioned to the cashier (Nokukhanya) that I was traveling. Unfortunately, I feel like they took advantage of my situation. The chicken I ordered was dry and stale probably from the day before. Cannot return it only noticed Kms away from Piet Retief. To top it of the lemon and herb flavoring was barely noticeable. Given the circumstances, I expected better. It seemed like the quality was compromised, and I am left feeling like I didn't get the best value for my money. The least they could have done was to inform me that the chicken is not fresh, to manage expectations. The garlic rolls and chips are fresh.
