Beware of double charges at Pedro's on your card
Bought a meal for myself for over R300 and realized I had forgotten an item that was R29.90. I was double charged this amt on my card and because it was < R100 wasn't notified of tx at time of processing. I was notified by 1 of my banking apps of a possible duplicate tx because of same amt at the same time. When I complained to Pedro's they requested my bank statement. For R29.90 I was not prepared to give them my banking details. Told them to donate the money to charity but I doubt that will ever happen.

23 Dec 2022, 11:39The reply was obviously pure lip service. Yet to receive a call from Pedro's. They were very quick to respond to complaint but not very keen to keep to their intentions.

28 Dec 2022, 07:47I must admit it was an uphill battle to get them to admit the issue. They contacted hellopeter directly who i must admit was not very objective initially. Pedros wanted the complaint removed, claiming it was false. In their above response they even got the store wrong.
