This is day light *******.
To start of we are never home yet my elec bill ranges between R2000 to R2500 a month. When I contact Pec Utilities offices I get told to pay x amt and in a week's time my electricity is disconnect due to an amount outstanding. This is utterly frustrating as we have to pay an additional R1000 + for re connection fees. I called in today to query why the guys came to disconnect my electricity and was told \ we sent an sms yesterday and you must just pay the money now\". I tried to explain to the accounts manager that we did not receive the sms and I was not aware of the disconnection. If I was aware I would have paid the amount and avoided the re connection fee. The acounts manager is a rude arrogant woman who has no customer service skills whatsoever. I explained to them that my husband gets paid tomorrow and I will make the oustanding payment to them so please do not disconnect. THE ANSWER WAS NO...I WANT MY MONEY ! Im sorry whose money is it when 60% of the bill is admin fees, service charge, network charge and the works and 40% is actually my usage for the month. Pec utility is ripping us off to the last cent and yet they cannot accommodate us when we try to make an arrangement"
Our Operations manager (Marazelle) as well as credit control officer spoke to client, and the query has been resolved.
